Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: May 2, 2026  ·  Effective Date: May 2, 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules governing what you may and may not do with the Axelis platform and its features. It applies to all users of Axelis, including those on the Free tier and all paid subscription tiers.

Axelis is a powerful AI platform. With that power comes responsibility. Our platform integrates with major social networks, advertising systems, content generation pipelines, and communication tools. Misuse of these capabilities can harm real people, violate platform policies, and expose you and Lost Boy Graphics to legal liability.

This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, as described in Section 9 below.

Core Principle: Use Axelis to build, create, and grow — not to harm, deceive, or exploit others. If you're unsure whether a use case is permitted, contact us before proceeding.

2. Permitted Uses

Axelis is designed to support the following legitimate use cases:

  • Creating and scheduling authentic social media content for your own brand or business
  • Managing your own social media accounts, pages, and advertising campaigns
  • Generating original marketing copy, product descriptions, blog posts, and other written content
  • Creating AI-generated images and video for your own brand's commercial use
  • Running legitimate advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and other connected platforms
  • Automating routine business tasks such as email drafting, calendar management, and task creation
  • Researching and analyzing your own campaign performance and social media metrics
  • Using AI assistance to respond to customer inquiries and manage communications
  • Generating content for affiliate marketing, product reviews, and sponsored content, provided such content complies with applicable disclosure requirements
  • Creating educational and informational content

Permitted uses are subject to all other restrictions in this AUP and in the Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not use Axelis to create, distribute, or assist in creating the following types of content:

3.1 Illegal Content

  • Content that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
  • Content promoting, facilitating, or instructing in illegal activities, including but not limited to: drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing, human trafficking, money laundering, or fraud

  • Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence against any person or group

3.3 Deceptive & Manipulative Content

  • Content designed to impersonate any individual, company, brand, or public figure without authorization
  • "Deepfake" content — AI-generated images, audio, or video depicting real people without their consent, particularly content that is sexually explicit, defamatory, or used to defraud or deceive
  • Synthetic media used to spread disinformation or misinformation (false factual claims presented as true)
  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior: using Axelis to manage networks of fake accounts, engage in astroturfing, or manufacture artificial social proof
  • Advertising content that makes false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims in violation of FTC guidelines, platform advertising policies, or applicable consumer protection laws
  • Content designed to manipulate financial markets, promote pump-and-dump schemes, or distribute unregistered investment solicitations

3.4 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

  • Bulk, automated, or unsolicited commercial messages (spam) sent via email, social media, direct messaging, or any other channel
  • Mass following, mass liking, mass commenting, or similar bot-like behavior on social platforms

3.5 Children's Safety

  • Any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors (CSAM) — strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement
  • Content designed to solicit, groom, or otherwise exploit children

Zero Tolerance: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content endangering minors will result in immediate, permanent account termination, preservation of all relevant data, and mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.

6. Advertising Standards

Axelis provides powerful tools for creating and running advertising campaigns. When using these tools, you are the advertiser of record and are solely responsible for ensuring your ads comply with:

  • FTC Guidelines: All advertising claims must be truthful, not misleading, and substantiated. Material connections (sponsorships, paid partnerships, affiliate relationships) must be clearly disclosed.
  • Platform Advertising Policies: Ads created through Axelis must comply with the advertising policies of the platform on which they are run (Meta, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google). Axelis is not responsible for ad disapprovals resulting from policy violations.
  • Industry-Specific Regulations: Certain advertising categories are subject to heightened regulation, including but not limited to: financial products and services, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, alcohol, gambling, housing, employment, and credit. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations in your industry.
  • Prohibited Ad Categories: You may not use Axelis to run ads for: illegal products or services, counterfeit goods, products that infringe third-party rights, multi-level marketing schemes with deceptive earning claims, or content prohibited under Section 3 of this AUP.

7. Privacy & Data Restrictions

When using Axelis, you must respect the privacy of others:

  • Do not input personal information of third parties (customers, contacts, employees) into Axelis without a lawful basis and appropriate consent or authorization to process that data
  • Do not use Axelis to build audience profiles, segment users, or conduct analytics on personal data in ways that violate GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws
  • Do not use Axelis to scrape personal data from any platform, website, or service

  • Do not use Axelis to track or surveil individuals without their knowledge and consent
  • If you submit personal data of EU or UK residents to Axelis for processing, you must ensure you have a lawful basis for that processing under GDPR/UK GDPR. You may need to enter into a Data Processing Agreement with Lost Boy Graphics; contact us at elijahgreen@lostboygraphics.com.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of Axelis that violates this AUP, we encourage you to report it. Reports help us maintain a safe and trustworthy platform for all users.

To report a violation, email elijahgreen@lostboygraphics.com with the subject line "AUP Violation Report." Please include as much detail as possible, including any relevant screenshots or links. We will investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action.

Reports made in good faith will not result in any adverse action against the reporter. We do not tolerate the filing of false or malicious reports.

9. Consequences of Violations

We take violations of this AUP seriously. Consequences are scaled to the nature and severity of the violation:

Warning

First-time, minor violations with no significant harm. We will notify you of the violation and provide an opportunity to correct your behavior.

Temporary Suspension

Repeated minor violations or a first-time violation of moderate severity. Account access is suspended for a defined period (hours to days). Specific feature access may be permanently restricted.

Account Termination

Serious violations, repeated policy violations after prior warnings, or deliberate misuse of the platform. Account is permanently closed. No refund is issued. You may not create a new account.

Termination + Legal Action

Violations involving illegal activity, CSAM, large-scale fraud, hacking, or activity that causes significant harm to third parties. Immediate termination. Data preserved and reported to law enforcement. Civil or criminal liability may follow.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate any account, without warning and without refund, where we determine in our sole discretion that the violation poses an immediate risk to the platform, other users, or third parties.

10. Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by emailing elijahgreen@lostboygraphics.com with the subject line "Account Appeal." Please include your account email address and a clear explanation of why you believe the action was taken in error.

We review all good-faith appeals and aim to respond within 5 business days. Appeals will not be considered for accounts terminated for CSAM, deliberate platform attacks, or other zero-tolerance violations.

Our decisions on appeals are final. We are not obligated to reinstate any account.
